WHIPLASH - THE JOURNEY OF THE BOOMERANG
While Dr. Evans F. Duger (« Doug ») are performing an experiment with his « Boomerang » on an old railroad line, he discovers a time portal. He decides to go back in time to help the father of his best friend Handy McGowan. Then, due to an accident, he ends up at the end of the XIX century where he falls in love and marries the beautiful biochemist Cybril Baxton. When he finds out that Cybril’s father, Wilmor, has accepted a duel (that would mean Wilmor’s certain death) with the baron John-Lee Cromwell, Doug journeys back through time to find the manuscript that was destroyed during a Viking invasion in Scotland in the XI century.

Michel Labbé
Natif de Beauce-Nord au Québec, Michel Labbé est un écrivain de science-fiction, fantastique et policier. Il se fait d’abord connaître par l’écriture d’une suite à la trilogie Retour vers le futur, une deuxième trilogie (parties IV, V, VI) et son premier roman, Le Boomerang du temps, avec une traduction en anglais sous le titre, WHIPLASH –The journey of the Boomerang. En 2011, il complète le programme de Création littéraire à l’Institut de Formation Professionnelle de Montréal et il obtient son diplôme avec mention d’honneur. Auteur indépendant, il écrit et publie, Labyrinthus columba (policier / fantastique), Dilettanti littéraire (croissance personnelle), Curiosité fatale (policier), La Lune, vous l’avez peut-être dérangée (science-fiction / post-apocalyptique).
Born in Beauce-Nord in Quebec, Michel Labbé is a science fiction, fantasy, and detective writer. He first became known for writing a sequel to the Back to the Future trilogy, a second trilogy (part IV, V, VI) and his first novel, Le Boomerang du temps, with an English translation under the title, WHIPLASH –The journey of the Boomerang. In 2011, he completed the Literary Creation program at the “Institut de Formation Professionnelle de Montréal” and obtained his diploma with honors. Independent author, he writes and publishes, Labyrinthus columba (detective / fantasy), Dilettanti littéraire (personal growth), Curiosité fatale (detective / mystery) ; La Lune, vous l'avez peut-être dérangée (science fiction / post-apocalyptic).
